Dr. Michael Adams is the Next Executive Director of the Tri-Association

The Tri-Association has important news to share. After a thorough search process conducted by ISS, the Tri-Association Board reviewed thirty-nine candidates and made their selection from this group of highly qualified candidates. We are proud and very happy to announce that Michael Adams, Ed.D. has been selected to be the next Executive Director of the Tri-Association.

Michael’s credentials include an M.A. in Education from Austin College, Counseling Certification and graduate work at The University of Houston, and an Ed.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Michael’s background and experience make him uniquely qualified for the role of Executive Director of our regional Association. A native of Dallas, Texas, Michael’s global experiences started when his family moved to Tokyo, Japan where he spent ten years of his life. After three years of teaching experience in Texas, Michael started his educational career in Colombia at the Columbus School in Medellin. His tenure at the Columbus School spanned ten years where he served as a teacher, a Counselor and a HS Principal. From Medellin, Michael moved to his first Headship at Colegio Granadino in Manizales. From there, Michael went on to serve as Deputy Head in Colegio Nueva Granada and as Head of School in Colegio Jorge Washington, Cartagena.
