I hope this letter finds you and the members of your circle in good health.
I am reaching out with news about Membership Renewal for 2021-22 and information about our ANNUAL EDUCATORS’ CONFERENCE to be held virtually October 1 & 2, 2021.
While we are all yearning to go back to on-site educational conferences this year we are still being cautious due to the continued impact of Covid 19 on Latin American countries. It is our hope that by September 2022 we will have the opportunity to hold our Educators’ Conference at the Westin Camino Real in Panama.
In spite of many challenges the pandemic has brought, it also gave us the opportunity to reframe the manner in which we delivered professional learning to the schools in our membership. Throughout this year we have offered our regional educators a robust online program that has been extremely well attended. This online program will continue once we are able to add on-site conferences and other learning events to the schools in our membership.
You are cordially invited to join us this October for our 2021 Annual Educators’ Conference which will bring together motivational speakers and school educators to inspire and provoke conversations about our post-pandemic learning. We will provide you with opportunities to display your educational products and innovations through our new website and through a MarketPlace especially created for the conference event.
Starting in June 2021 we have restructured our tiered membership structure to add many marketing and educational opportunities through our virtual platforms to support the important work that you do. You may recall that this past year we imposed a moratorium on membership fees in support of the financial impact the pandemic had on the companies and organizations that you represent. In spite of this we have continued to provide you with marketing benefits through our newsletters and webpage.
We sincerely appreciate your partnership and look forward to continuing to work with you in support of the schools that we serve.

As many of you already know I will be stepping out of my role as Executive Director on August 1, 2021. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with you and want to thank you for your ongoing support of the Tri-Association.
Dr. Michael Adams, who is currently the Superintendent of the American School Foundation in Monterrey, Mexico will be taking on the role of Executive Director and will be establishing the Association office in Bogotá, Colombia. Dr. Adams and I will continue to work together during a six month transitional period. Michael has deep roots in our region where he has been a Head in many schools in our membership. He is a friend and colleague of many years, and I am delighted with the decision made by the Board of Directors to select him as the next Executive Director.
